Introduction
Water is the matrix of life and many different fields have performed detailed studies to understand the dynamics and structure of water. Due to the complex nature of the problem, numerous different experimental and theoretical methods are required for one to gain understanding on water. Furthermore, water study has a wide range from studies on gas phase water clusters, to water on metal surfaces, to reactions occurring in aqueous phase. Therefore in this workshop, we aim to bring together water related researchers from different disciplines to initiate stimulating discussions. Following the successful one day workshop we had last year (http://www.iams.sinica.edu.tw/ASWaterWorkshop2010/ ), this year we have decided on a slightly longer two and half day workshop to bring more researchers together. We hope to take this opportunity to encourage interested researchers to participate in this workshop.
